Created Byhand Challenge

Hi Y'all,
This week's theme for the Created Byhand Challenge is Mom/pearls. My mother passed away in 2007.  I chose the word Memories as this week's challenge has brought even more loving memories of Mom to the forefront of my thoughts.

Memories, from the Life Journey Words set from Quietfire Design, was stamped and embossed on Waves, Silver Snow decorative paper. It was cut out using Spellbinders Labels Four #5. A frame was created using Labels Four #4 and #5. Cut and emboss cardstock using Spellbinders Contemporary Hearts. Before removing cardstock from die, trace over swirls below hearts using the gold Gel Xtreme pen. The next layer is Edera decorative paper. Assemble elements, including faux pearl flourish, on base card measuring   4 1/4x5 1/2".    This scan does not do justice to the decorative papers used in this card.

Thanks for looking.
Hugs,

I have lost my mother, too, so Mother's Day is bittersweet with no longer being able to share it with her, yet having so many loving memories. What a nice thought behind your pretty card!

very pretty. Every time I see those papers, I keep saying I have to get some. One day, hopefully before they're all gone...

This is lovely, I like the focus on the sentiment and the hint of pearls. Thanks for playing in Flourishes Word to your Mother challenge.
